Pirates rally in the 8th, Brito tosses complete game gem
The Pirates plated 4 in the bottom of the 8th keyed by a 2 run double from Ron Anderson after being stymied all day by the Bucs' Jon Scheuerman. Rich Brito was in shutdown mode on the mound for the Pirates all day yielding only 8 hits and no earned runs. The Pirates got two hits from Dennis Oliver, including a lead off bunt single in the 8th to start the rally, 2 from Dave Mango and Ken Rise as well and great defense from Rod Arancibia at shortstop all game. A much needed come from behind win for the Pirates against a tough Bucs team that played near flawless defense all day.
