Angels Ride Ramos CG to Victory over Pirates
The Angels took an early lead, scoring 2 in the top of the second. The Pirates responded with 1 in the bottom of the second and 2 more in the third to take a 3-2 lead. The Angels went ahead again in top 4 on doubles by Ramos and Landry and an rbi single by Zentgraf. The Angels added an insurance run in the 7th small ball style, on an HBP, stolen base, an infield out to the right side and an infield single. Lorenzo Ramos goes the distance, striking out 7 and getting 2 doubles with the bat. Brian Combs had a big day, going 4-4 with 2 rbi and and 2 stolen bases.
