Hounds rally in 7th, sneak by Sharks
Despite great pitching from Villareal and Smallwood, the Rockhounds overcame a 3 run deficit late in the game to surge past the Sharks. Soriano, Campos, and Fortunato kept Sharks hitters off balance for the first 6. Greg Frey came on in the 7th and went 2 scoreless for the win. Hounds offense was paced by Brad urba who went 2-4, scored 2 runs and swiped 3 bags. Severson matched Urba with 3 SBs.
Erlan Villareal pitched very effectively in the loss.
