Snug Sawx Limp In!
Down in True Detective-land (Salt Lake Park), the walking-wounded Sox--who were basically found dead on a remote park bench a month ago--somehow overcame their litany of injuries, a suspiciously "weighted" schedule at the end, and a very tough Stallions team to somehow remain undefeated in August and make the playoffs. Big shootouts, crooked politics, wild sex parties...none of that was a part of the Sox's season unfortunately, but it was still definitely better than Season Two. Great team win, big props to Robin Z for six strong innings, Mateo Valadez with the win and two big RBIs, and Dave Gawkowski who fought through a stiff back for three key Ribbies.
