Cubs' Ryan Davis Throws Complete Game and Goes Yard Twice!
The Cubs win their 14th game of the season at Occidental College. Ryan Davis for the Cubs pitched a complete game and helped himself at the plate by blasting two home runs off of the Bail Bonds Runs ace Jose Munoz. Both Danny Larson (3 hits total) and Brian Montemurro each had two doubles. Dan Sheldon and David Rountree also had 2 hits apiece in the win. For the Bail Bonds Runs, Jesse Garcia hit a home run and Munoz, pitching into the 9th, struck out 11 in the loss.
