Mudcats win a tight one.
Mudcats win a tight one behind starter Roberto Torres (5 IP / 9 K's) and reliever Josue Iniguez (4 IP / 5 K's). Each allowed only 1 run each, with Iniguez picking up the victory against a very tough Bandit lineup.
The Bandits scored first in the top of the 3rd on a balk, but the Mudcats came back in the bottom of the frame as Rich Fallat doubled, Marcos Perez singled him to third and then Fallat scored on a Lorenzo Ramos single. The 'cats took a 2-1 lead in the 5th as Iniguez singled in a run. The Bandits tied the game at 2 apiece in the 8th on a strikeout throw to 1B, runner from 3rd comes in. So tied 2-2 in the top of the 9th ... Ramos singles and takes 2nd as the ball gets by the outfielder. Next up, Felix Pacheco hits a shot off the wall at Roybal to plate Ramos with the walk off game winner. For the Bandits, Roberto Luna had a 3-hit day.
