Bonaddio Construction holds off Brendan's 101 on Opening Day
Brendan's 101 came back from a 7-1 deficit but Bonaddio Construction held on for a 7-4 decision at Broad River on a cold but sunny Opening Day game. Bonaddio got two hits each from Anthony Bonaddio and Cooper Grillo. They also got good pitching performances from Daniel Miller and Jake Pomponi. Miller was the starter and winner striking out 7 batters, while Pomponi came on in relief to record the save. Bonaddio Construction also got fine defensive plays from Tommy Bartley and Trevor McGee. Joey Snyder had a single, RBI, and scored two runs for the victors. For Brendan's 101 Philip Stalzer had a single and 2 rbi and was on base all three times. Alex Vineyard doubled twice.
