Snappers Comeback In The Seventh
South Hills offense started the game off with 4 runs in the top of the first inning with a few walks and singles by Brandon Whitfield and Clarke White. John Zilles hit a sacrifice fly to plate the 4th run for the Snappers in the first inning. In the bottom of the first, South Park answered with 4 runs of their own on 4 walks, a hit by pitch and one single. South Park then took the lead in the second inning and would hold the lead until the seventh. In the top of the seventh South Park was able to get the first two hitters out. John Zilles then singled, and Wes White hit a triple to left field to tie the game. Pat McCarthy drove in White with a single through the left side to win the game.
