Grillo pitches Bonaddio Construction past McMahon Ford 2-0
Cooper Grillo recorded 16 k's in a hard fought, well played 2-0 victory against McMahon Ford, who was led on the mound by Finn Cullen. Both pitchers pitched brilliantly only allowing 3 hits apiece. Grillo walked just 2 batters in a complete game victory. Grillo helped his team's cause with an RBI single in the 3rd inning for the game's first run, driving in Anthony Bonaddio who had walked earlier in the inning. Daniel Miller reached base both times with a single and walk. Jake Pomponi had a double and scored a run in the winning effort. For McMahon Ford, Korey Morton was the lone McMahon Ford baserunner to reach third base with a triple. Also, getting hits for McMahon Ford were Cullen and Teddy Holgersen. Both teams played flawless defense, as Seamus Herlihy led the way for McMahon Ford.
