WESTON TRAVEL BASEBALL HAWKS 13U drops 10-5 game to Boca Eli
MICHAEL KLEINMAN did all he could to give WESTON TRAVEL BASEBALL HAWKS 13U a boost, but it wasn't enough to get past Boca Elite, as WESTON TRAVEL BASEBALL HAWKS 13U lost 10-5 in seven innings at sugar sand park, boca on Sunday.
It was a good day at the plate for WESTON TRAVEL BASEBALL HAWKS 13U's MICHAEL. MICHAEL went 1-3, drove in one and scored two runs. He doubled in the fifth inning.
Calleins, Mart and Fraiden helped lead Boca Elite. They combined for seven hits and seven RBIs.
Boca Elite jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the bottom of the third. Boca Elite's threat began with a single by Mart. A stolen base then moved Mart from first to second. Boca Elite then tacked on more runs when Bernkophf and Vurchino scored on a two-run triple by Calleins.
After posting one run in the fourth, Boca Elite again scored one in the fifth. In the fourth, Boca Elite scored on an RBI single by Mart, plating Brennan.
After pushing across one run in the top of the seventh, WESTON TRAVEL BASEBALL HAWKS 13U faced just a 7-5 deficit. A fielder's choice set off WESTON TRAVEL BASEBALL HAWKS 13U rally. Boca Elite's Voiz induced a JON MILLER strike out to close things out.
Boca Elite survived WESTON TRAVEL BASEBALL HAWKS 13U's surge and put up three runs of its own in the seventh. Boca Elite scored on an RBI single by Calleins, an RBI single by Johnson, and a walk by Mart
