Griffin Hits and Pitches Storm to 29-0 Victory Over Blazers

Chloe Griffin carried Scarborough High School to a 29-0 victory over Westbrook HS on Monday with a strong game at the plate and on the rubber.

Chloe Griffin racked up four RBIs on four hits for Scarborough High School. She singled in the first and third innings and doubled in the fourth inning.

Scarborough High School's Chloe Griffin kept Westbrook HS off the scoreboard for all five innings she was in the circle. She pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on two hits while striking out eight.

Nineteen runs in the opening three innings allowed Scarborough High School to easily put away Westbrook HS. An error, an RBI single by Laura Powell, an RBI single by Tori Hale, an RBI single by Felicia O'Reilly, a bases loaded walk by Maddison LeBeau, and a wild pitch in the first inning and a two-run double by Hale and an RBI single by O'Reilly during the second inning helped Scarborough High School put some runs on the board early.

Scarborough High School easily handled Westbrook HS pitching as nine hitters combined for 24 hits, 24 RBIs and 26 runs scored.

LeBeau couldn't get it done on the rubber for Westbrook HS, taking a loss. She allowed nine runs in two innings, walked three and struck out one.
