Snappers Defeat Twins With Three Run Second Inning
South Hills took advantage of four walks to score three runs in the second inning. This was all of the offense they would need as Rick Raraigh picked up his fifth win of the season. Raraigh went four innings allowing only one hit while striking out eight. Matt Nelson earned his second save of the year tossing a clean seventh inning. Twins struggled offensively, having just two hits on the night. Starter Ken Gault took the mound for the Twins despite having a broken finger on his throwing hand. His bad luck continued when Mike McCarthy squared up a line drive back at his arm, which was then caught by the third basemen to end the fifth. He will be out for the remainder of the season with a fractured bone.
