South Park Overcomes Big Early Defecit To Defeat Blue Jays
The Blue Jays jumped out to a 5-1 lead as South Park starter Corey Humphreys struggled to throw strikes, walking 3 and hitting one as Pasquale's Pizzeria mixed in three hits. The score sat at 6-1 Pasquale's heading into the fourth inning when the South Park offense woke up and plated six runs to take a 7-6 lead. Keying the rally was a Corey Reis two run double and a Nick Arnoni bases clearing double. Adam Dodson came on in the fourth and was able to keep Pasquale's off of the scoreboard the rest of the way. Ryan Dodson was 2-3 for South Park with a double and three RBI and South Park lead off batter Anthony Monaco reached base safely 5 times with a single, HBP, and 3 walks while scoring 3 times. Nathan Raffle and Johnny Rende led the Blue Jays with two hits each.
