Scarborough Takes Game Over Gorham In A Blowout Victory 12-3

Scarborough High School easily dispatched Gorham 12-3 on Monday
Gorham opened up scoring in the first inning, when Tracey grounded out, scoring one run.
The Redstorm pulled away for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third Hunter Greenleaf singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run and Courtney Brochu singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Scarborough put up five runs in the fourth inning. Bella Dickinson, Chloe Griffin, Greenleaf, and Brochu all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.
Griffin was the winning pitcher for Scarborough High School/Redstorm. She allowed four hits and three runs over seven innings, striking out nine.
McGouldrick took the loss for Gorham. She lasted four innings, allowing 12 hits and nine runs while striking out three and walking one.
Scarborough socked two home runs on the day. Laura Powell went yard in the fifth inning plating 3. Dickinson had a solo dinger in the fourth inning.
Scarborough saw the ball well today, racking up 15 hits in the game. Brochu, Felicia O'Reilly, Sam Carriero, Griffin, Powell, and Greenleaf each collected multiple hits for the Redstorm. Brochu led Scarborough High School with three hits in four at bats.
