Scarborough Shuts Down & Shut's Out Biddeford 14-0

Scarborough High School/Redstorm defeated Biddeford 14-0 on Monday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Mia Kelley induced a fly out from Perpeault to finish off the game.
Scarborough High School/Redstorm got on the board in the first inning. Chloe Griffin singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.
Scarborough High School/Redstorm tallied six runs in the fifth inning. Scarborough High School/Redstorm put the pressure on, lead by singles by Hunter Greenleaf, Lindsey Kelley, and Mollie Verreault and a fielder's choice by Ivy DiBiase.
One bright spot for Biddeford was a single by Wildes in the first inning.
Bella Dickinson led the Scarborough High School/Redstorm to victory in the circle. She lasted four innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out eight. Kelley threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Matteau took the loss for Biddeford. She went three innings, allowing eight runs on seven hits.
