Tarran Senay's Walk Off Double Sneak Mudcats By South Hills
South Hills jumped on Quinn Construction early with two runs in the first inning. The Mudcats responded with three of their own in the bottom half of the first. By the looks of things early, you would think this game was going to be a high scoring affair. Quinn increased their lead to 4-2 in the third inning when Mike Hermann drove in Tarran Senay with a single. South Hills regained the lead with three runs in the fourth inning off of starter Luke Hils. AJ Olasz relieved Hils and retired 9 out of the 10 batters he faced. Olasz fanned 6 batters and was the winning pitcher. In the sixth inning, down 5-4, Colin Williamson lead off the inning with a walk and moved to second on Zack Miller’s sac bunt. With two outs, Eric Morrison drove home the tying run with a single making it 5-5. Greg Schneider immediately laced a ball into the gap. Morrison tried to score from first but was gunned down at the plate keeping the score knotted at 5-5. In the bottom of the 7th, Jim Pasquine lead off with a single and came all the way around on Tarran Senay’s walk off double into the left center gap. Senay finished the night by going 3 for 3 with 2 doubles, 2 runs scored, a walk, and one huge RBI.
