Bastin Provides offensive spark for Dodgers
Down by 3 runs in the third, CJ Bastin got the offensive party started with a lead off double. Max Rakestraw followed with a single to bring him in and Caden Rathbauer singled in Rakestraw. The Dodgers then Loaded the bases and capitalized on a throwing error to steal 2 runs. Meanwhile, Mike Kisseberth was dealing on the mound, striking out 8 over 4 innings. The Dodgers got some insurance in the 5th with a lead off double from Rathbauer, an RBI double from Kisseberth and an RBI single from Jared Wilcox. Corzeek Palms came on to get the Save needing only 3 pitches.
