BVA was victorious over Uniontown, 5-3
Uniontown fired up the offense in the first inning. A sacrifice bunt by Nolan Sennett scored one run for Uniontown.
BVA pulled away for good with three runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Aidan Ochs singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run, an error scored one run for Belle Vernon Leopards Varsity, and Andrew Sokol's sac fly scored one run for Belle Vernon Leopards Varsity.
Erik Pietrantoni took the win for BVA. He surrendered three runs on five hits over six and two-thirds innings, striking out seven and walking one. Andrew Kostelnik threw one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.
John Harim took the loss for Uniontown. He went six innings, allowing five runs on six hits and striking out three.
Max Gauden led BVA with two hits in two at bats.
Owen Martin went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Uniontown in hits.
