Dickenson Shuts Down and Shuts Out Gorham

Bella Dickinson had all the right stuff on Wednesday for Scarborough High School , allowing zero runs and besting Gorham by a score of 14-0
Scarborough High School opened up scoring in the second inning. Mollie Verreault doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.
Scarborough High School notched four runs in the third inning. The offensive onslaught by Scarborough High School was led by Caitlin Noiles, Courtney Brochu, and Verreault, all driving in runs in the inning.
One bright spot for Gorham was a single by Lydia Drew in the fifth inning.
Dickinson led the Scarborough High School to victory on the rubber. She allowed four hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out 14.
Aaliyah Biamby took the loss for Gorham. She lasted three innings, allowing eight hits and seven runs while striking out three.
Scarborough High School smacked one home run on the day. Dickinson had a four bagger in the fifth inning.
Scarborough High School totaled 14 hits in the game. Verreault, AJ Swett, Brochu, and Dickinson each collected multiple hits for Scarborough High School . Verreault led Scarborough High School with three hits in three at bats.
Drew went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Gorham in hits.
