11 Run Fourth Caps Blowout 17-2 Win Over Kennebunk

Scarborough High School defeated Kennebunk 17-2 on Wednesday thanks to a timely 11 runs in a big fourth inning. Mollie Verreault, Mia Kelley, AJ Swett, Caitlin Noiles, Courtney Brochu, and Ava McDonald each had RBIs in the frame.
In the bottom of the second inning, Scarborough High School tied things up at one when Bella Dickinson singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Scarborough High School pulled away for good with five runs in the third inning. In the third Noiles hit a solo homer, Kelley singled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs, and Dickinson tripled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.
Scarborough High School scored 11 runs in the fourth inning. The offensive firepower by Scarborough High School was led by Verreault, Kelley, Swett, Noiles, Brochu, and McDonald, all knocking in runs in the inning.
Kelley earned the win for Scarborough High School . She allowed three hits and two runs over five innings, striking out one and walking one.
