Storm Clinches Lead in 6th Downing Thornton Academy 5-4

Scarborough High School Clinches Lead In Sixth Inning To Defeat Thornton Academy
Scarborough High School stole the lead late in the game in a 5-4 victory over Thornton Academy on Monday. The game was tied at three with Scarborough High School batting in the top of the sixth when Hannah Gower hit a solo homer.
Thornton Academy scored three runs in the third inning, but Scarborough High School still managed to pull out the victory. Thornton Academy scored its runs on a home run by Olivia Howe.
Scarborough High School fired up the offense in the first inning, when Sylvia Foley doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.
Scarborough High School evened things up at three in the top of the fourth inning. Bella Dickinson drove in one when she doubled.
After Scarborough High School scored one run in the top of the seventh, Thornton Academy answered with one of their own. Scarborough High School scored when an error scored one run for Scarborough High School . Thornton Academy then answered when Hanhah Collins singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.
