Rebels Edge Snappers On Walk Off Single
Daniel Boehme's bases loaded single with no outs in the bottom of the 7th lifted the Pittsburgh Rebels to a 2-1 win over the Snappers in a Sunday evening dandy. Five total pitchers from both teams dominated with a dozen strikeouts combined. The Rebels scored in the first inning on an RBI ground out by Bo Williams that scored Nicky Dolan. It stayed 1-0 until Anthony Fanelli led off the sixth inning with a long home run to tie the game. Then in the bottom of the 7th, Carson Rebel blooped a single, Williams reached on an error and Chris Lee laid down a bunt single to set the stage for Boehme. Justin Brucker in relief picked up the win while John Bachman was the tough luck losing pitcher.
