Bears Execute Offensive Plan vs. Owls
Boyertown executed offensively by hitting the ball hard on the ground along with some line drives to the outfield. Chris Davis, veteran SS for the Bears, was 3-4 with a double, 3 RBI, a run scored and two stolen bases. Jared Waldman effectively pitched backwards mixing off speed with his fast ball. He allowed four hits in six shutout innings for the win, striking out five in the process.
