Garcia, Gehringer Spark Exeter's Late Rally
J.D. Garcia's 3-Run triple & Colin Gehringer's 2-Run Homer climaxed Exeter's 6-Run winning rally. Curtis Waltemyer opened the rally with a double & stole third on an attempted pickoff. After a walk & hit batter loaded the bases, Garcia capped a 3-for-3, 5-RBI game with a triple to center. He scored on an errant catcher's pickoff attempt. After a walk, Gehringer homered over the 362-foot sign.
