TJ Captures Lead Early To Defeat BVA

BVA fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 1-0 loss to TJ on Thursday. TJ took the lead on a single in the first inning.

The pitching was strong on both sides. TJ pitchers struck out nine, while BVA sat down three.

TJ got on the board in the first inning. Andy Kalup singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.

A single by Cole Naylor in the second inning was a positive for BVA.

Dylan Mallozzi earned the victory on the pitcher's mound for TJ. He surrendered zero runs on five hits over seven innings, striking out nine and walking one.

Naylor took the loss for BVA. He allowed eight hits and one run over six innings, striking out three and walking zero.

Tyler Steadman, Naylor, Gauden, Garrett Greco, and Logan Seliga each collected one hit to lead BVA. BVA didn't commit a single error in the field. Andrew Sokol had the most chances in the field with four.

TJ collected eight hits. Cam Dimidjian and Josh Reynolds each managed multiple hits for TJ.
