SHS Grabs Lead in 4 Run 6th, Takes SMAA Championship From TA

Scarborough High School took the lead late in the game in a 9-8 victory over Thornton Academy on Saturday. The game was tied at five with Scarborough High School batting in the bottom of the sixth when Bella Dickinson singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Despite falling down by four runs in the sixth inning, Thornton Academy tried to fight back. Thornton Academy scored three runs on a double in the seventh inning.
In the first inning, Scarborough High School got their offense started when Courtney Brochu doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.
