Hornets comeback for their first win
The Hornets rallied for single runs in the 7th, 8th, and 9th innings to come from behind and defeat the Tony Hayshakers 5-4 for their first win of the summer. Tony had taken a 4-2 lead in the bottom of sixth on a 3-run homer by John Nelson.
Jake Murray, who came on in the 7th, picked up the win, with Isaac Rohde getting the save, after he came on and struck out the only batter he faced in the bottom of the ninth.
Christian Lindow worked the first six innings for the Hornets, allowing 4 unearned runs.
Leading the 11-hit Hornets attack, was Zack Fisher, Matt Juza, Nolan Rowe, and Rohde, all with two hits apiece.
