Game 12 - Snappers Advance To Finals

Brian Warheit went the distance allowing just one run to send the Snappers to the finals. The Snappers got on the board first when Clay Groff doubled to led off the inning and was followed by three consecutive singles to put the Snappers up 2-1. Pasta Too responded in the top of the fourth inning when Chad Jacob reached on an error and hustled his way to third base. After a walk, Jacobs scored on a fielder's choice. The score remained the same until the Snappers put up two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning. Tom McCarthy led off the inning with a hit by pitch and later scored on a Jon Ziles double. The inning was capped off with another Clay Groff double to make the score 4-1. Pasta Too threatened in the top of the seventh putting two runners on but could not push a run across. Warheit finished the game allowing just one run on five hits while striking out three.
