Game 13 - Snappers Take Game 1 In Extras

The Snappers grabbed an early lead scoring in the second inning when Brandon Whitfield led the inning off with a double and later scored on a fielders choice. In the third inning Mike McCarthy was hit by a pitch and scored on a Dave McCarthy double. Quinn tied the game in the sixth inning on a few walks and an error by the Snappers. The game stayed notched at two until the ninth inning. Mike MCCarthy was hit by another pitch and Dave McCarthy singled to set the table for Anthony Fanelli. With two outs, Fanelli hit a two RBI double and was followed by a Brandon Whitfield double to put the Snappers up three. In the bottom of the ninth Quinn threatened with a walk and an error to put the tying run at the plate. Matt Nelson came in to strike out he final batter of the game. Brian Dabney tossed five innings allowing no runs on one hit while striking out eight. Greg Frederick went all nine innings for Quinn allowing five runs on seven hits while striking out ten.
