NC evens series with 9-1 win over the Cardinals
New Cumberland evened the series at 1 by beating Mechanicsburg 9-1. Luke Goodyear got the start but left with one out in the third. He gave up 6 runs on four hits and three walks. Charlie White finished the game.
Mechanicsburg never got anything going offensively. Josh Herring led off the first with a single. He stole 2nd and 3rd. He scored on a fielders choice by Kyle Hannon. The Cards never threatened again.
