Brody Simmons Dominates In His Homecoming
Brody and Logan Simmons both attended Plum High School and live three minutes from the school. They both play for Quinn Construction, but Brody was right at home tonight even though he was playing for the visiting team at Plum High Schools new turf facility. Simmons pitched 5 efficient innings and got plenty of run support as Quinn Construction rolled the Plum Pterodactyls 10-0 in six innings. Simmons allowed only 2 hits and 1 walk while striking out four. The Mudcat bats were red hot. Jim Pasquine lead the Cats with a 3 for 3 night, a walk, a stolen base and 3 runs scored. Tarran Senay and Kenny Gault both hit two-run bombs, Eric Fairman and AJ Olasz both chipped in two hits and Eric Morrison drove in three runs.
