Titans Hold Off Late Surge From Mudcats
The Target Freight Titans wasted no time getting on the scoreboard with both hits and runs, scoring all of their 7 runs in the first two innings. They got guys on with good at bats, hard hit baseballs, and scored in bunches with rallies. Joe Killian tallied one single, one double, and 5 RBIs leading the way for the Titans bats. Zach Murray also had a multi hit game for Target Freight, he had one single and one double as well. On the other side of the ball Ryan Huey threw a brilliant 5 innings, struck out 7, and only let up 1 blooper to right field. Quinn Construction gathered 3 runs over the span of the last three innings by way of free passes and one of their two lone hits which was a double by Eric Morrison. The Titans give the Mudcats their first lost of the season and continues their winning streak. Ryan Huey gets the win and Lou Kammermeier gets the save as he recorded the final out after entering the game in a two out, bases loaded jam.
