Boyertown outlasts Reading
Ethan Ferraro scattered 6 hits and the Bears took advantage of 11 walks to hold off Reading, 3-1. Ferraro was within one out of a 5-hit shutout before two walks, a single, and a wild pitch ruined the shutout. Colin Eisenhard walked all 4 times that he came to the plate, driving in the Bears' first run with his third walk. For Reading, Manny Morales had 2 hits including a booming leadoff double in the second inning.
