Lanni Walk Off Home Run Surges Boneyard Past Slugs

With one out in the bottom of the fifth, the Slugs were up 2-0. Matt Lockwich singled and forced the Slugs to turn to their closer, former Cy Wiff award winner, Tim Marra. Zach Lockwich welcomed Marra with a single down the left field line, and then Cole Lanni belted a home run over the right field fence in the next at bat to give Boneyard the 3-2 victory. The Slugs pushed a run across in the second and third to gain the early advantage.
