The top seeded Splunkers had some business to take care of after dropping their first game of the evening, and that they did. Home runs by Austin Abel and Zach Williams in the first inning put the Splunkers up 2-0 early, and they were not done. Cree Gardner blasted a grand slam in the second and the Splunkers struck for six runs to make it 10-0. Abel was back to his dominance on the rubber with a complete game one-hitter and five strikeouts. The Abyss used three different arms to try to slow down the Splunkers offense, Jake and Toby Kennedy were unsuccessful, but Cam Kennedy came in and threw a scoreless 2 and a half innings to finish the game. Toby Kennedy had the lone hit for The Abyss.
