Lanni Walk-Off Home Run Advances Boneyard Past Lumberkings

Cole Lanni and Jake Cadez went pitch for pitch through the regulation 5 innings, as each pitcher allowed just two base runners. In the sixth inning, Cole Lanni belted a home run over the right field fence to advance Boneyard in the 2021 playoffs. The Lumberkings lone scoring threat came in the top of the first, when they hit back-to-back one out singles but stranded the runners. Lanni got the pitching win, throwing six scoreless innings and striking out 6 with no walks. Cadez was the tough luck losing pitcher, as he dealt 5.1 innings of two hit ball.
