Boneyard Advances To Bracket B Finals Unbeaten

Boneyard Wiffle put themselves in great position with a 6-4 victory over the Flamingos in Bracket B's winner's bracket final. After Cole Lanni struck out the side in the top of the first, Chris Sarnowski and Ty Zadrozny hit back-to-back home runs in the bottom half to put Boneyard out in front early. The Flamingos answered with a pair of runs in the second off three singles and two walks, tying the game at 2. Boneyard took the lead back (5-2) in the bottom of the second with a three run homer, after the Flamingos committed an error earlier in the inning that would have got them out of the inning scoreless. Another costly error was committed in the third inning when BYW plated their sixth run. A two run home run by Steve Keelon in the fourth inning narrowed the score to 6-4, but that would be as close as the Flamingos could get. Lanni earned the win with five strikeouts over his five innings of work. Keelon got tabbed with the L for the Flamingos.
