Game 15 - Snappers Even Series With Sixth Inning Comeback

In game two of the championship series, the Snappers pulled out a victory to force game three in a winner take all matchup for the 2021 DNL title. The Snappers got ahead in the top of the first inning when Mike McCarthy was hit by a pitch and scored on a Pat McCarthy double. In the bottom of the third inning Quinn got on the board after an error and hits by Jake Walker and Eric Morrison to make the score 3-1. The Snappers added another run in the fifth on a double by Dave McCarthy and a single by Tyler Holland. Quinn quickly answered in the bottom of the fifth after Jim Pasquine doubled and later scored on a Logan Simmons sacrifice fly ball. The Snappers trailed 4-2 with two outs and the bases loaded in the top of the sixth as Quinn Construction was looking to win the title today. A balk forced in a run to cut the lead to one before Dave McCarthy second hit of the game put the Snappers ahead with a single that drove in two runs. In the top of the seventh, the Snappers added on, scoring four runs capped off by a Rocco Maue double. Maue paced the Snapper offense going 3-3 with two doubles. Walker and Pasquine along with Eric Fairman were Quinn Constructions leader with a pair of hits each. Snaptober continues to game three tomorrow night at Millennium Park beginning at 6:30 p.m.
