Quinn Construction Slips Past The Rebels
The Rebels got on the board in the first inning when Mike Bell walked and scored on a Dylan Mallozzi single. Mudcats starter, Corry Ryan, busted out his best break dancing moves on the mound that confused the young Rebels and kept them to only one run in the first. Quinn Construction responded in the bottom half of the first. Jake Walker drew a walk and stole second base. Walker advanced to third on an Ed Pfluger single and then scored on Jim Pasquines fielders choice. Pasquine made it 2-1 when he came around on an Eric Morrison double. The Mudcats added an insurance run in the 6th when Carlos Sanchez singled home Eric Morrison to make it 3-1. Ryan, Ramon Medina, and Kenny Gault split the pitching duties and cooled the Rebel bats for most of the night. Ryan earned the win and Gault earned the save. Aidan Williams was the hard luck loser.
