Tarran Senay Has Break Out Night For Quinn Construction
To put it mildly, Tarran Senay has struggled so far this year. He came into this game batting .058 and still trying to find his swing. The Mudcats slugger officially found it tonight. Senay swatted a three-run HR in the first inning to give Quinn Construction an early 4-0 lead. He also came up with run scoring singles in the 5th and 6th innings to pad his stats with 6 RBIs on the night. Aul Bat Company responded with 4 runs of their own in the first inning making it a 4-4 game after one. Mudcats starter, Ryan Lang, shook off the bad start and shut down Aul Bat Company for the next four innings. Quinn Construction added one run in the 4th, three runs in the 5th and four runs in the 6th inning to extend their lead. Other Mudcats had big days at the plate also. Jake Walker scored 3 runs, singled, had an inside the park HR, had two RBIs, and swiped two bases. Jim Pasquine had three hits, scored three runs and drove in two runs. Eric Morrison also chipped in three hits with a run scored and an RBI.
