Ryan Lang Tosses Complete Game Gem
2022 West Mifflin grad, Ryan Lang, carried a no hitter into the 5th inning tonight as he pitched to contact and let his defense play. In the top of the 5th inning, Larry Kusan broke up the no-hit bid with a triple after battling Lang for 11 pitches. Kusan would come home on a sac fly to right field but it would take a miraculous leap over the catcher to get it done after Zane Griffaton almost nailed Kusan from right field. Kusans run was the only run the Outlaws could muster against Lang who only allowed five base runners all game. The Mudcats offense was lead by the usual suspects of Jim Pasquine and Tarran Senay. Pasquine reached base four times and scored 3 runs while Senay reached base three times and drove in three runs.
