Moynihan Delivers 4 Hits in Victory Over Bonny Eagle

Natalie Moynihan collected four hits in five at bats, as Scarborough HS Softball defeated Bonny Eagle 16-6 on Monday. Moynihan doubled in the first, singled in the second, singled in the third, and tripled in the sixth.
Bonny Eagle scored four runs in the third inning, but Scarborough HS Softball still managed to pull out the victory. The big inning for Bonny Eagle came thanks to home runs by Burnham and McClure.
Scarborough HS Softball got things moving in the first inning, when Calynn Gendreau doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Angelina Pizzella got the start for Scarborough HS Softball. The righthander went three innings, allowing five runs on five hits, striking out six and walking one.
McClure started the game for Bonny Eagle. The hurler went three and a third innings, allowing nine runs on 11 hits. Burnham threw one and two-thirds innings out of the bullpen.

Bonny Eagle tallied two home runs on the day. Burnham went for the long ball in the third inning. McClure went deep in the third inning.
Scarborough HS Softball tallied 16 hits on the day. Moynihan, Morgan Scoville, Gendreau, Pizzella, and AJ Swett all had multiple hits for Scarborough HS Softball. Moynihan went 4-for-5 at the plate to lead Scarborough HS Softball in hits.

Bonny Eagle racked up seven hits on the day. Mards, Burnham, and McClure each collected multiple hits for Bonny Eagle.
