Moynihan Throws No - Hitter in 28 - 1 Win Over Cheverus

Natalie Moynihan was brilliant in the circle on Friday, as Moynihan threw a no-hitter to lead Scarborough HS Softball past Cheverus 28-1.
Moynihan led Scarborough HS Softball to victory by driving in eight runs. Moynihan went 3-for-5 at the plate. Moynihan drove in runs on a stolen base in the first, a home run in the second, a groundout in the fourth, a double in the fifth, and a home run in the fifth.
Scarborough HS Softball got things moving in the first inning, when Moynihan drew a walk, scoring one run.
Scarborough HS Softball put up 13 runs in the fifth inning. Maddie Russo, Sophia Ouellette, Moynihan, Katie Roy, Russo, and Delia Fravert all drove in runs in the frame.
Moynihan took the win for Scarborough HS Softball. The righthander surrendered one run on zero hits over five innings, striking out six.
Ashley Connor took the loss for Cheverus. Connor went four innings, allowing 20 runs on 18 hits and striking out two.
Scarborough HS Softball launched three home runs on the day. Russo went for the long ball in the fifth inning. Moynihan had a dinger in the second and fifth innings.
