Gendreau Drives in 4 as Scarborough Defeats Thornton Acadamy

Calynn Gendreau was clutch at the plate with runners on base on Friday, driving in four on two hits to lead Scarborough HS Softball past Thornton Academy 11-1 on Friday. Gendreau drove in runs on a double in the second and a double in the fifth.
Scarborough HS Softball notched four runs in the sixth inning. Sophia Ouellette, Meghan Robinson, AJ Swett, and Alana Sawyer powered the big inning with RBIs.
Natalie Moynihan led the Scarborough HS Softball to victory in the circle. The righthander allowed three hits and one run over six innings, striking out nine.
Sophia Bogardus took the loss for Thornton Academy. Bogardus went one and two-thirds innings, allowing three runs on three hits.
Scarborough HS Softball collected ten hits. Gendreau, Moynihan, Swett, and Gabriella Giftos each managed multiple hits for Scarborough HS Softball. Giftos, Swett, Moynihan, and Gendreau each managed two hits to lead Scarborough HS Softball.
