Bunney Home Run Burns Slugs
Zion Bunney broke a 0-0 tie in the third inning with a one-out, three-run bomb and that would help push High Heat past the Banana Slugs. Maxx Melnyk hit a home run in the fourth to extend the lead for High Heat. Bernie Riley shut down the Slugs offense, who salvaged one run in the fifth but nothing more. Melnyk finished the game 4-for-4.
