Gentry's Homerun propels Wildcats to victory over rival East
Bailey Gentry homered on the first pitch in the top of the ninth inning to lead West Stokes to a 7-5 win over rival East Surry.
Sydney Holder earned the win from the circle surrendering no runs and no hits over three innings, striking out three. Olivia Goforth started the game from the mound. She went six innings, allowing fun runs on seven hits and striking out six.
Gentry and Camden Bowles each collected multiple hits for the Wildcats with Gentry collecting three hits in four at bats.
