Titans Grab Lead Late For Victory Over Quinn Construction
Titans snatched the lead late in their 3-2 victory over Quinn Construction on Tuesday. The game was tied at two in the bottom of the sixth when an error by Chance Satcho scored one run. Both teams were strong on the bump, for the Titans pitcher Jake Seymour struck out seven, while Quinn Construction's Luke Hils sat down six. The Titans opened the scoring in the third after Joe Killian singled, scoring one run. Quinn Construction captured the lead, 2-1, in the top of the fourth after Jim Pasquine singled, and Logan Simmons singled, each driving in one run. In the bottom of the sixth inning, Titans went back into the lead for good after a line drive over the right fielder by Nick Bernick who tripled. Seymour earned the win for the Titans, the right-handed pitcher gave up four hits and two runs over seven innings and walking two. Hils took the loss for Quinn Construction, the starting pitcher went six innings, surrendering three runs (two earned) on six hits and walking three. Ryan Kragnes and Killian each collected two hits for the Titans, Bernick and Killian each drove in one run. Bert Kovalsky, Kenny Gault, Pasquine, Logan Simmons, and Caden Wills each collected one hit for Quinn Construction.
