Championship, Bandits are not going to be denied this time..
9th annual Jesse Ales Memorial Softball Tournament.

The tournament was played in fort Bragg August 19 and 20. there were 12 teams competing for the ales championship. 7 Local teams and 5 out of town teams.
It was a rematch from the 2004 ales tournament for the championship. Jackson Hewitt won in 2004 and gave the Bandits their only two losses.
It was almost de ja vou all over again. Jackson Hewitt beat the bandits 13-12 in there 2nd game on Saturday to send the Bandits to the losers bracket. As was the case in 2004, same score.
Then the Bandits won 3 games in a row to make it back to the championship. Having to beat Jackson Hewitt twice to win the tournament, the first game was close with the Bandits winning 8-6 to force the second championship game.
The Bandits were not going to be denied this time. Winning with a score of 17-2. MVP for the Bandits was Damian Bird (Ukiah) all Tourney was Jason Fayter (Cloverdale)and Brandon Davis (Lake County) .
