West Coast Red Sox win LABL Championship
Jorge Guzman dazzled through 9 full innings as the 60+ year old pitcher delivered a second post season victory in as many weeks, this time cementing the Red Sox as league champions. The Sox had to get by an undefeated powerhouse in the Brewers but offensive and defensive contributions from every player, including a lead widening 3-run triple from Vinnie Manierre, supported Guzman?s wizardry on the mound. The Red Sox claim their second consecutive Fall/Winter championship, this time in the Central Division, after winning in the Continental Division in 2022.
