Huskies grab 1st League win
After having Friday night postponed, Hutchinson hosted the Stingers for their first Northstar League game Sunday afternoon. The Huskies jumped to a quick 6-0 lead after 3 innings. Matt Piechowski, Cody Arlt, and Kyle Schumann all had 2 hits. Piechowski and Schumann both went deep as well. Jon DeRock picked up his first victory of the year going 5 innings, allowing just 1 one run, and striking out 2. KK Starrett and Cody Arlt finished up the final frames, as rain took care of the 9th. Hutchinson moves to 5-1 on the season.
